Our life sometimes feels repetitive. Like we are doing the same thing again and again without any fruitful results. Working, eating, sleeping, then repeating the same cycle the next day, and so on. So, where are we? Stuck in our life? Is there any way forward?
Let's investigate our question under the three pre-eminent parameters of life - What, why, and how. With the help of these three microscopes, we will try and dig out possible solutions for our problem.
What does 'being stuck' in life mean?
It's like walking on a treadmill, moving in the same place again and again. When you are amounting nothing to live, then you are stuck in your life. You are doing the same routine, the same thing over and over again. You are repeating yourself. This feeling quickly grows from a speck of boredom to a splotch on your happiness.
Why do we get stuck?

The rationale for this differs from person to person. We are different people in different stages of our life. But the feeling of anxiety, suffocation, dissatisfaction, and a multitude of emotions emerging from the situation is similar.
You are adhering blindly to fixed patterns of behaviour that were helpful in the past. Now, these behaviours have become more harmful than practical. The reason you are not able to move forward in your life is because you are exerting the previous patterns to the present. You are a new person now. The variables to not make it work are infinite.
You are unsatisfied with your life but are unenthusiastic to put in the hard work required to improve your life. A scuffle goes on between comfort and hard work. It gives rise to a vicious cycle of self-hatred and excuses.
You feel like there is no use, or you have no choice in making your life better. To all those who perceive life this way, understand this - Yes, there is a choice. Your feeling this way is a choice akin to picking one apple from the other in a grocery market.
How to get out of 'being stuck' ?

Relax and enjoy
Do what comes naturally or what you want to do at that moment for yourself. Productivity is important but creating something worthwhile is more important. Don't force yourself to fill every second of the day to be productive. When you need to work, give your 100% into it and afterward unwind and then relax.
Keep the toxic thoughts at bay
Listen to your inner thoughts and let them pass away. Our internal monologue sometimes creates more problems. Some may be a reaction to a late set of actions. But then they might start spiralling out of hand. We start adding unwanted scenarios. On such manifestations, ask yourself if these thoughts have any basis. Try not to give into them and ruin your present moments. Accept your thoughts without any shame, fear, or resentment. Observe them without passing any judgment.
Introduce new momentum in life
Ask yourself some rudimentary questions like "Where am I feeling stuck?' or 'Which part of my life is causing me dissatisfaction.' The answers to these questions can help you to know yourself better. After the initial assessment, you can take up a new hobby, tour, or exercise. There are a million things to choose from and make a difference to the quality of your life. Similarly, start eliminating the negative items of baggage from your life.
Take help from others
Ask for suggestions from people you think are moving ahead with their lives. How did they do it? Where they ever in a slump. How did they get out of it? Use their success as your fire and inspiration to move ahead in life.
Read the situation and act accordingly
Evaluate your present hurdles according to the current framework of your life. And then take your steps. Change the formula to get a different result.

Take some minutes aside to think about yourself and if you are satisfied. Let your brain and your soul enjoy being stuck because this is just temporary. Enjoy every moment of it because it gives you time to think about what you want. Utilize this time to plan for your next time. Soon things will start to roll.
