Last year was no less than a great fall;
Life threw us a curveball.
It started with promises for a better future,
but before it could be fulfilled,
the greater good,
decided to remind us that we are, but humans.
We all know that death is inevitable.
The cloaked man will greet us one day.
Still, we had never prayed more and harder for our lives,
and our dear ones,
as we did in the last few months.
It was torment.
Many survived,
some let go of our hands.
But we did come together,
and appreciated life, and,
individuals.
We got time to think,
to recollect our thoughts,
love,
appreciate all that we have, and,
plan all that we can be.
As the world tended to its' wounds,
You took a lot of rest.
and progressed,
in the time,
that stood still in line.
As new resolutions are made,
again,
remember the patience,
the self-love, and,
the sweat you broke.
The time that you count,
try to measure and mount,
will slip by you,
like sand through the gaps of your fingers,
so don't be a mere bystander.
The coin is still in the air,
it's still flipping.
Everyone has moved on though,
pushing their wheels in motion.
And, if your get stuck somewhere,
remember,
the times you polished yourself,
slowly but steadily,
over and over again.
Remember,
the time you survived.
